Planned giving

Offer a gift that provides sustenance to families in our community for years to come.

Gifts of Retirement Plans

Please seek guidance from a tax advisor for information on the tax advantages associated with such contributions.

Designating Sanad as the beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan asset, such as a 401(k), 403(b), IRA, Keogh, or profit-sharing pension plan, not only supports our mission but also offers substantial tax benefits to the donor. By specifying Sanad as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, the donor retains full control over the asset during their lifetime. However, upon the donor’s passing, the plan transitions to support Sanad Pantry, exempt from both estate and income taxes for the heirs.

Life Insurance

Donating a life insurance policy to Sanad Pantry is a straightforward way to make a lasting impact, especially if you have a policy that you and your family no longer require.

Did you know that one of the simplest ways to support Sanad Pantry today and in the future is by giving a life insurance policy as a gift? The donor may qualify for an income tax deduction equal to the policy’s cash surrender value. The process involves transferring ownership of a fully paid-up life insurance policy to Sanad Pantry, or even purchasing a new policy with Sanad Pantry designated as the beneficiary. This life insurance policy can be redeemed either immediately or at a later date to further the mission of Sanad Pantry.
