SANAD began in a one-bedroom apartment in Chicago lawn sharing food with neighbors who needed a helping hand.
Since 1991, SANAD has grown into a place where our neighbors can turn for food, help with bills, and support. Our doors are open to everyone.
We distribute food to in excess of 150 charitable food programs.
Our Food Bank is combating hunger.
At SANAD, we believe everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious food. Since 1991, we have supported individuals and families in Chicago through our food pantry, community food programs, and senior food assistance.
Whether you need groceries for your family or food support for an older loved one, we’re here to help. Together, we can build a stronger community where no neighbor has to face hunger alone.
